Hello, Kirkenes: Are. You. Ready. To. Rock.
The one and only Laibach are only days aways from touching down in Kirkenes for two shows during the Barents Spektakel 2018.
The first show, as part of the official opening of the festival, will be an outdoor concert with the band performing on a magnificant ice-stage constructed by Norway’s most prolific ice sculptor, Peder Istad. This outdoor setting, in the very heart of Kirkenes, will create a once in a lifetime performance that includes choreographed football matches with girls football teams from Murmansk and Sør-Varanger choreographed by Sigurd Johan Heide.
The second show, a concert inside Kirkenes’ Samfundshuset, will take place on Thursday 22nd February with Laibach performing tracks from their vast catalogue that has been called everything from industrial, metal, electronic, symphonic, militant, martial and EBM amongst others.
