Strange Football Pitch Appears in Kirkenes
A hexagonal football picth is taking shape in Kirkenes’ Brunostparken! The pitch is the festival’s offical three-sided football field for the competition that kicks off on Thursday afternoon.
The Barents Spektakel will host a three-sided football tournament where local problematics and themes such as environment vs mining vs shipping are the basis for cooperation and competition. Pitch construction by collective FFB, students from the Art Acadmy in Tromsø and Taibola from Russia. Commentary from local football legend Pål Harald Hansen and refereeing from three-sided football expert, Owen Proctor-Jackson. Read more and check the schedule on the project page.
